Substance Use Assessment & Treatment

CCYSB: Substance Use Disorder Services

CCYSB is a private non-profit organization that has provided outpatient mental health and family support services since 1972. With a focus on the needs of the Carroll County Community, CCYSB has developed a full continuum of services to address a spectrum of ages and problem areas.

In an effort to provide the community more integrated services, our most recent addition to the continuum is assessment and treatment for youth, adults, and families struggling with alcohol and substance use/dependence.

Our Substance Use Disorder Services provides a full range of assessment and treatment services to meet the needs of individuals and families experiencing the negative impact of addiction. Our objective is to provide comprehensive services with the goal of intervention, education and treatment of substance use in Carroll County.

Using a strengths-based approach, licensed and certified counselors work closely with clients to help them identify and modify the destructive behaviors and choices that have contributed to their situation. Clients are encouraged and supported while they learn how their alcohol or substance use has impacted their mind, body and overall functioning. Clients are taught new methods for coping and provided resources for outside support – while working on their plan for change.
