CCYSB offers psychiatric services to clients who are receiving psychotherapy services within the Clinic, Family Preservation, or Mobile Treatment programs. Dr. Judith Milliken, MD is a licensed psychiatrist who also serves as Medical Director and psychiatrist within the Clinic. Mobile Treatment psychiatric services are provided by Dr. George James who works part time and specializes in treating chronically mentally ill adolescent and adult patients. Referrals for psychiatric services are made exclusively by CCYSB therapists who have conducted an initial screening for psychiatric symptoms. Psychiatric services are funded through medical assistance, most major medical health insurance plans, and scholarship funding made available by CCYSB.
