Safe & Stable Family Preservation is a voluntary, short-term, home-based program for Carroll County residents with children 0-5 years of age who are at risk of involvement with Department of Social Services Child Protection. Teams of mental health professionals provide comprehensive services designed to preserve and improve family relationships. A continuum of services is offered, beginning with crisis intervention and stabilization and moving to less intensive step-down services. The ultimate goal of family preservation is to help parents develop skills and resources to regain healthy functioning and autonomy for the family.
Families can be referred from providers in the agency. For information on how to make a referral, or to receive a referral form, please contact Nan Billingslea at 410-848-2500 x113 or 410-876-2500 x113 or e-mail nbillingslea@ccysb.org.
