Youth Service Bureau is committed to building an endowment fund which will provide income to our organization for years to come. For many years, YSB has relied on funding from government agencies so that we may deliver critical mental health services to the citizens of Carroll County, but with recent belt-tightening, we are looking to offset this uncertainty and create a permanent investment base.
What is an Endowment? Endowments are gifts that keep on giving. Endowment gifts are permanently invested in order to generate interest that is used to support the organization. Endowment funds are built through gifts of cash, securities, real property, tangible personal property and personal life insurance as well as through bequests and charitable trusts. These funds are combined to create an investment portfolio that can generate income for our non-profit organization for many years to come.
If you would like to have someone from Youth Service Bureau’s Development Committee meet with you to discuss setting up an endowment fund, please contact Andie Luchini, Director of Development at firstname.lastname@example.org or 443-244-8139.
